How To Print My Webpages Thanks to one of my ezine subscribers, Sindee Lee, for this solution. This will allow you to print from your word processor, so you don't waste ink printing the sidebar. I'd suggest you also type the URL of the page that you've printed so you don't forget where it came from. To Print From Explorer: Go to "File" at the top left of your browser window and click. Select "Save As." When the window pops up and asks how to save it, click on "Save As Type" and scroll down to ".txt." This will save the page as text. Note what the name of the file will be, or change it to a name you want. In the "Save In" window, browse to where you want to save it. Click "Save." Open your word processor, click to open your documents, and browse until you find the text file. Open it, and you should have a page of plain text that you can print. To Print From Netscape: (One more step than Explorer) Go to "File" at the top left of your browser window and click. Select "Save As." When the window pops up and asks how to save it, click on "Save As Type" and scroll down to ".txt." Then, in the window with the file name, change ".shtml" to ".txt." This will save the page as text. Note what the name of the file will be, or change it to a name you want. In the "Save In" window, browse to where you want to save it. Click "Save." Open your word processor, click to open your documents, and browse until you find the text file. Open it, and you should have a page of plain text that you can print.
