Hypnosis is a process for change, making large problems small and manageable. You completely control the process, accessing powerful resources within your mind to improve your life, change unwanted habits, and accomplish your goals.

I opened my private practice in Hypnotherapy in Cottonwood, Arizona (near Sedona) in 1990. As a hypnotherapist, I consider myself a teacher and guide, helping clients to achieve their goals, and build a greater sense of self-acceptance. To read more about me, please go to my biography.

What To Expect From Your Appointment

Your first visit will be a consultation, that lasts anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. I'll explain hypnosis, what it can and can't do, and then ask you what you want to change. We'll discuss various aspects of it, I'll tell you of my treatment plan, and I may give you some work to do before your first session. Generally, your first session is another day, to allow you to process all the information that I've shared with you, and to do any of the inner work I've suggested.

You will generally take a reinforcement audiotape home with you from your session of hypnotherapy. This is a tape of the session, and I recommend that you listen to the half-hour tape once a day. This helps to give the subconscious more direction and strengthens your motivation to change. Therefore, you'll need an audiotape player that can be purchased fairly inexpensively. Do not listen to the tape in a moving vehicle.

Depending on what you're wanting from hypnotherapy, your sessions will be from an hour to over two hours long.

Fees

Initial Consultation - $30
Appointments - $60 per hour
Discount of 10% if pay for two or more sessions in advance
Smoking Cessation - minimum three sessions over a week or ten day period - $162 if paid in advance
Weight Management - six-eight session minimum over two-three months - $324-$432 if paid in advance

Cancellation Policy

Please call my office to cancel by 8:00am of the morning of your appointment, or there will be a $25 charge.
